Working with some of the biggest names in country music Marty Howard Chambers learned from the very best about what it takes to be a performer. Having played pedal steel for David Frizzell and Shelly West, Mandy Barnett, Little Jimmy Dickens, Moe Bandy, Jan Howard, Vern Gosdin and Georgette Jones Marty learned his craft well. In 1996 he released his first CD “the Future of Our Land” on an independent Canadian label as Marty Howard and in 2002 recorded an album for Random Note Records, “Tearin’ Me Up.” Setting aside his own aspirations for a solo career Marty continued to back legends of country music appearing on the Midnight Jamboree several times and at the Ryman and the Grand Ole Opry. Now however Marty is reaching for the brass ring. Recently he re-released his 2002 CD “Tearin’ Me Up” and has signed with Megalith Nashville, and is currently working on a new CD.
